Joel

Principal Consultant

Joel has accumulated broad experience in civil engineering, quantity surveying and construction law across large scale infrastructure projects.  He has a BEng in Civil Engineering, an MSc in Concrete Engineering, an MSc in Quantity Surveying, and an LLM in Construction Law and Arbitration.  Additionally he is an accredited mediator, has completed the RICS diploma in Adjudication, and has completed the LSE Negotiation Programme.  He is a Chartered Civil Engineer, a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, a member of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of the Society of Construction Law, and member of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering.

Alison

Associate Consultant

Alison is a linguist by background, with a BA in German and Arabic.  She has lived in several different countries, including Germany, Egypt, Chad and Qatar.  She is an experienced proof reader and copy editor for several engineering journals and textbooks.  She is currently studying for an MSc in Construction Law and Practice.
